New Kemo the Blaxican Music Video | Nobody Likes

Kemo the Blaxican was one of the original members of the seminal Latino Hip-Hop group Delinquent Habit, known for their classic "Tres Delinquents" song. Kemo went solo a couple of years ago to pursue his own record company and his own path musically. His first solo album “Simple Plan” was released through his label "Dead Silence Records" and was very successful for being an independent venture without the support of a major label. The first single off the album was "La Receta," a rapid-fire bilingual joint on which Kemo shines like never before, blended a Sonora-style horn riff with all the right lyrical ingredients for what became an instant hit on the streets, mixshows, and the Los Angeles underground scene. It was also placed in several Hollywood motion pictures including “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pant” staring America Ferrera and “10 Item’s or Less” staring Morgan Freeman and received rotation on many video shows including MTV Latino and MTV Espanol for over a year. His "Simple Plan" track "I Drink, She Smokes" was also featured on the soundtrack of actress Barbara Mori's movie "La Mujer de Mi Hermano", one of the biggest Latino films of the last year.
This April 20th, 2007 Kemo the Blaxican will circulate his second solo release “Not So Rich & Famous.” The Blaxican hits you in the chest right from the start with heavy grooves and hard rhymes. “Not So Rich & Famous” is a high powered good time record that touches on every thing from life, politics, main stream radio and the everyday struggle of a West coast Blaxican. He manages to do this all while remaining visually involved throughout it all. If you thought "Simple Plan" was his best work to date, Kemo has done what any good artist should do and out did himself once again.
