Global City and Krazy Race | The Last Hour Video Shoot

Words and Photography by Sal Rojas

What happens when two underground forces collaborate on a song? In the creation of "The Last Hour" you get the classic street anthem that sparked a seismic wave from the epicenter of Los Angeles. The track features two of Los Angeles' premiere Latino hip-hop crews, the Global City Crew from the Pico-Union district and the Krazy Race Movement based out of the city of Whittier. In solidarity, Global City and Krazy Race came together to spit revolutionary rhymes from deep within the belly of the beast. The beat produced by Brainwave of Global City and scratches courtesy of Resy One literally sent out shockwaves so powerful they reached the headquarters of LatiNation TV studios in New York City. The LatiNation TV crew flew down to Los Angeles to feature a joint segment on the next wave of Latin Hip-Hop music that featured Global City and Krazy Race.

The Last Hour music video was filmed in various locations throughout Los Angeles county. The main scenes were shot at the Pico-Union Community Center in downtown Los Angeles and at the Holloway Rehearsal studio in Whittier. The video was co-directed by I-suppose (I Suppose Productions) and Mark from Krazy Race for Realizm Rekords. The music video will be available on Realizm Rekords first official release "Krazy Race Take a Walk With Me" DVD.
